Delete your account & data
You can delete your Intento account and all associated data at any time. Choose whichever option is easiest for you — all of them permanently remove the same data.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
- Open Intento.
- Go to Profile (bottom right tab).
- Scroll to Settings and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate.
This wipes your account, all saved products, decisions, reflections, purchase reviews, attached photos, and push notification token.
Option 2 — Email us
Write to hello@joinintento.com with the subject line “Delete my Intento account”.
Because Intento accounts are anonymous by default (no email at signup), please include one of the following so we can locate your data:
- Your anonymous user ID — visible in the app under Profile → About → User ID.
- Or the waitlist email you used, if applicable.
We respond within 30 days (usually within a few business days).
Option 3 — Remove from the waitlist only
If you only want to stop receiving emails about Intento, click Unsubscribe at the bottom of any email we sent you. This does not affect the app account (if you have one).
What gets deleted
- Your anonymous user account (Supabase Auth record).
- All saved products, decisions, reflections, purchase reviews.
- All photos you attached, from our file storage.
- Your push notification token.
- Your waitlist email, if you also asked to remove it.
Anonymised crash reports and short-lived server logs are automatically purged on their own schedule (up to 90 and 30 days respectively).
Timing
In-app deletion is immediate on our production database. Backups are overwritten within 30 days. After that no copy of your account remains anywhere.
